Introduction

-Each week, select one team to WIN. If that team wins, you advance to the following week. If not, you are done.

-Teams cannot be selected twice during the season. The team you pick in Week One cannot be selected again for the remainder of the season.

-No point spreads are used, just straight win/lose.

-The competition ends when one individual is left standing. If the competition ends with two or more remaining at regular season’s end, the title will be split. The same occurs if the remaining competitors all exit during the same week.

-Picks should be posted on the blog prior to the beginning of each week, if possible. I will not be able to keep abreast of who has picked each week, so do not anticipate me tracking you down if you forget to post. If you are in a bind, feel free to call (leaving a message if need be) or text my cell phone at (716) 228-2712 or email me at geoff.nason@gmail.com with your selection. I can retroactively credit you for your pick, provided it is submitted on time.

-If you forget to post before the 1 p.m. games, but find a 4 p.m. game to your liking, you will be allowed to select a team so long as your pick is posted prior that game’s kickoff. Same applies for Sunday and Monday night games. If you fail to pick a team during a week, you will automatically be eliminated. The same goes if you pick a team for a second time and do not switch your pick.

-Picks cannot be switched if the starting time of your original pick's game has already passed.

POSTING INSTRUCTIONS

-If you do not own a Google account, create one by visiting the following link:

-Visit the competition website:

-Click on the “comments” section of the current week, just below the schedule.

-Type your selection in the text box under the “Post a Comment” line. Please post it weekly in the same format as the sample post below for purposes of keeping the blog somewhat organized:

-Change the "Comment as:" pull-down menu to "Google Account," and click "Post Comment." If you are already signed in, you simply need to click "Post Comment" and you are set.

-Type in the username/email address and password you used when signing up for your Google account and click "Sign In."

-You will be directed back to the competition website, where you may need to re-enter your pick and click "Post Comment" one more time. Confirm your selection appears along with everyone else’s picks.
